Relyir’s 15 mm curled-yarn construction sits at the sweet spot for residential greens: short enough to deliver fast, true rolls; dense enough to handle the repeated foot traffic of a golfer walking the same line over and over. The curl in the fiber creates a textured surface that grips the ball slightly, preventing the skidding you get on bare plastic.
Undulation is where backyard greens come alive. Our panels are cut to follow the contours of your base, and installers can shape subtle breaks into the compacted sub-base before the turf goes down — giving you slopes and tiers that challenge your read.
Drainage is the other half of the equation. Every Relyir putting green roll ships with perforated backing, so rainwater passes through into the stone base rather than pooling. In climates with heavy rainfall, the optional PU coating adds an extra moisture barrier on the backing side.

Installation Build-Up
A residential putting green is a layered system. We supply the turf and share build-up guidance so your installer achieves the ball speed and surface consistency you want.
Remove topsoil to a depth of 80–120 mm. Compact a crushed aggregate base with a slight crown for drainage — this is where undulation and slope are shaped.
Lay a geotextile membrane over the compacted base to prevent weed growth while allowing water to pass through to the drainage layer below.
Roll out the putting green turf, seam panels with adhesive and seam tape, and secure edges with galvanized nails or adhesive. Cut cup holes at marked positions.
Apply fine silica sand (2–5 kg/m²) and brush it into the pile. Sand weight stabilizes the turf and tunes the ball speed — more sand slows the green, less sand speeds it up.
Backyard putting greens need minimal but regular attention. Brush the surface weekly with a stiff broom to keep fibers upright and sand evenly distributed. Remove leaves and debris promptly to prevent moss or algae buildup in shaded areas.
Periodic sand top-up — once or twice a year depending on usage — keeps the ball speed consistent. The UV-stabilized PE fibers resist fading and degradation under continuous sun exposure across all climate zones.
A single-hole practice green works in as little as 10–15 m². A multi-hole green with chipping fringe typically runs 30–80 m². We cut panels to your available space, so the green fits around existing landscaping, patios and structures.
With 15 mm curled yarn and light sand infill (2–3 kg/m²), expect stimp readings in the 9–11 range — comparable to a well-maintained resort green. Adding more sand slows the pace; reducing sand speeds it up. We recommend starting light and adjusting to your preference.
Yes. We supply fringe panels in longer pile heights (35–60 mm from our landscaping series) that transition from the putting surface, giving you a realistic approach zone. Sand bunkers with contrasting fiber can also be integrated into the design.
Every Relyir putting green roll ships with perforated backing — drainage holes punched during our dedicated perforating step. Water passes through the turf into the compacted aggregate base, which carries it away through the crown slope. The green is playable shortly after rain stops.
With normal residential use and basic maintenance, Relyir putting green turf holds its playing characteristics for 10–15 years. UV-stabilized PE fibers resist fading, and the reinforced backing prevents seam separation under temperature cycling.
Yes. While our standard rolls are 4 × 25 m or 2 × 25 m, we cut to order and ship the exact panel sizes your project needs. Small residential orders are welcome — contact us with your dimensions for a quotation.
Yes. Samples are free of charge — you only cover the shipping. Standard swatches are 20 × 20 cm and we typically send three to four models per project so you can compare pile heights and colors side by side. Standard samples ship via DHL or FedEx within 4–6 days; custom-matched samples add 10–15 days of production.
Yes. Choose between two options: delivered to your destination port, with export customs clearance in China, international ocean freight and cargo insurance included in one all-inclusive cost; or delivered to a Chinese port if you prefer to work with your own freight forwarder. Other delivery arrangements can be accommodated on request.
Orders range from single rolls for smaller installations to full container loads for large developments. Roll sizes of 2 m, 4 m and 5 m widths (25 m length) cover most layouts, and custom dimensions are produced to order. Volume pricing applies as order size increases.
