Our Story

From Wuxi to 50+ Countries

Two decades of steady, self-funded growth — from a single tufting workshop in Jiangsu Province to a vertically integrated artificial grass manufacturer shipping to five continents.

Relyir was founded in 2006 by Mr. Wang in Wuxi, Jiangsu — the same year he was awarded the Creative Top Ten Youths certificate for his entrepreneurial vision. Starting from a focused tufting workshop, the company built its early reputation on consistent yarn quality and hands-on process control, learning the craft of artificial grass manufacturing from the ground up.

The export push began in 2009, when the tufting process was upgraded and the first international orders shipped. By 2011, an in-house twisting line had been added — sales doubled, and a dedicated lab and QC system were put in place. A major inflection point came in 2013, when a 12,000 m² warehouse and workshop came online and the first customers from Kenya, the Dominican Republic and the United States signed on. In 2015, automated sports turf equipment was commissioned, lifting production capacity by 150%. By 2018, a dedicated technical team was in place to focus on design and manufacturing solutions for increasingly complex project specifications.

Today, Relyir serves 500+ customers across 50+ countries from its Wuxi facility, where all eight production steps — compounding, extruding, twisting, tufting, coating, drying, perforating and rolling up — run under one roof. That vertical integration is what holds factory-direct costs 30–50% below international equivalents while keeping quality in-house at every stage. The philosophy has not changed since 2006: “Making the quality to be no 1 — more than a supplier, you need a partner.”

Production

Eight Steps, Under One Roof

Full vertical integration — from raw PE pellets to finished turf rolls — means every process is quality-controlled in-house. That is how Relyir holds costs 30–50% below international equivalents without compromising fiber quality.

Compounding raw PE materials for artificial grass yarn

01 Compounding

Raw PE materials are blended and compounded into the base resin for yarn production.

Extruding PE monofilament yarn for artificial grass

02 Extruding

Compounded resin is extruded into PE monofilament yarn at controlled denier and profile.

Twisting artificial grass yarn on Relyir production line

03 Twisting

Extruded yarn is twisted on the in-house twisting line for consistent fiber structure.

Tufting artificial grass fibers into backing cloth

04 Tufting

Twisted yarn is tufted into backing cloth on automated machines at specified gauge and stitch rate.

Coating latex onto tufted artificial grass backing

05 Coating

Latex or PU coating is applied to the tufted backing to lock fibers in place.

Drying coated artificial grass in oven

06 Drying

Coated turf passes through the oven to cure the backing at controlled temperature.

Perforating drainage holes into artificial grass backing

07 Perforating

Drainage holes are punched into the backing at regular intervals for water permeability.

Rolling up finished artificial grass for shipment

08 Rolling Up

Finished turf is rolled to standard or custom dimensions, inspected and prepared for shipment.
